Ski, snowboard et freestyle on the skistation of  Grand Tourmalet :

It’s the biggest skistation of theFfrench Pyrenees. The slopes are on both sides of the Tourmalet Col, one side the modern La Mongie and on the other side the authentique mountain village of Barèges. With his 68 skislopes you’ll find a large variety of scenery, once you ski among the pintrees, then on the fast slopes of Tourmalet and then again on the cool boulevard slopes of La Laquette.

The charm of this modern skistation can be found in the sensation of never taking the same slope, the scenery varies from one part to the other part of the station, but always with a magnificent point of view.

Snowpleasure for all the family, chairlifts at four kilometers from the campsite.

You don’t need to take your car up, free skibus at 100 mètres from the campsite!

Hiking with snowshoes :

Here the white and the blue blow up the grey of the boredom, the silence is felted and the nature is soothing.

The circuits are marked and varied for all the levels. You can start from the campsite!

Walking through  the hundred-year-old forest you’ll discover animalprints in the snow, arriving at the hut L’Ayré you will appreciate the view on the observatory of Le Pic du Midi de Bigorre. Arriving on the flat “plateaus” you can admire the old barns and the typical Pyrenean villages, further down below. A stop on Le Lienz, the old auberge, for a hot chocolate and taking the track down through the forest , back to the campsite.

Snowshoeing walks are aswell  organised by the professionel guides.

Snowmobiling at 3km :

After a day skiing or for those looking for other snowsensations, organised rides on snowmobiles, even at night.

Dogsled rides on the plateau du Lienz, at 4km :
