How to book?
- How to check availability and calculate the price of my stay?
To know the exact price for the requested dates, simply simulate a reservation on our platform by clicking on the WHEN WOULD YOU LIKE TO COME button. Once the dates are entered, we will display available accommodations and their prices. The price displayed at this stage is the price of the accommodation (or pitch) alone without options or optional cancellation insurance.
- How to make a reservation?
Have you found your dream vacation? All you have to do is click on “Book” and let us guide you to your next vacation!
It’s simple and fast: the reservation is made in 3 steps
1- Enter your details and enter the names of all participants in the stay (including babies)
2- Check the options you want to subscribe to and click on FINALIZE
3- Choose your payment method and confirm your reservation
You will then receive the final confirmation of your reservation by email within 48 hours.
- How to book multiple pitches or accommodations at once, or side by side?
Our website allows you to book only one pitch or accommodation at a time. To be sure to book several pitches or accommodations, contact us directly via the contact form or by phone at 05 62 92 69 01.
- Can I put an option on my stay?
We know you are eager to book your vacation, but it is not possible to put an option on a stay. Only the reservation and payment of a deposit or balance blocks availability.
- How to turn the quote received by email into a reservation?
Find your quote in your email inbox at any time. To turn your quote into a reservation, simply click on “View Offer” and proceed to the next step. You will then need to make your payment via our secure payment platform to validate your quote. Tip: be sure to enter your details in participant 1 so you don’t get stuck!
- Is my reservation final once payment is made on the site?
Once your reservation is made and your payment is validated, we confirm your reservation within 48 hours. In the very rare cases of unavailability, we will come back to you with new stay proposals or a full refund of the payment made.
- Is a baby counted as a participant?
Babies are considered full-fledged individuals. They are therefore counted in the accommodation capacity. The number of people registered for the stay must not exceed the accommodation capacity indicated on our website and your travel documents.
- What payment methods do you accept?
National or international bank transfer
Cash (only on site, for camping pitches without prior reservation)
- Can I pay in installments?
Yes, we offer payment of the entire stay in 3 installments depending on your reservation date: 30% deposit on reservation, 50% of the balance 60 days before your arrival and the balance 30 days before your arrival.
For bookings less than 60 days before your arrival: 30% on reservation and the balance 30 days before your arrival.
As a result, if you book less than 30 days before your arrival, you will have to pay the full amount of the stay.
NB: For pitches, the balance is to be paid on site.
Modification or cancellation of stay
- How to modify my reservation?
You have the possibility to modify your stay up to 10 days before your arrival. Your request must be made in writing, by mail or email to firstname.lastname@example.org. As far as possible, the campsite will do its best to accommodate your request based on availability.
- How to cancel my reservation?
Stay in rental accommodation: For any stay canceled from the reservation date to D-90 days before the arrival date, a cancellation package of €20 for each rental and the possible amount of subscription to cancellation insurance will be retained. Between D-90 days and D-30 days before arrival, the amount of sums paid and the possible amount of cancellation insurance will be retained. From D-30 before arrival or in case of non-presentation at the campsite, the total amount of the stay is due and retained.
Stay in bare pitches: For any stay canceled from the reservation date to D-90 before the arrival date, a cancellation package of €20 for each pitch and the possible amount of subscription to cancellation insurance will be retained. From D-30 days before arrival, the amount of the deposit and the possible amount of cancellation insurance will be retained. Non-use of services: Failure to use the services provided during the stay cannot give rise to a refund.
- Can I take out insurance to cancel without charge?
Yes. We offer cancellation / interruption insurance with Campezcouvert which covers most last-minute cancellation reasons. To learn more, you can find information on cancellation insurance page.
Prepare my stay
- What are the arrival and departure times?
On pitches: from 2 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. and departure at noon at the latest
In rentals: from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and departure before 10 a.m.
If you arrive outside reception hours, remember to notify Camping la Ribère at 05 62 92 69 01.
- I cannot arrive before the reception closes, how should I proceed?
Contact the campsite directly, preferably by phone, to see how to organize yourself. Warning: No delivery of rental keys or installation on a pitch will take place after 9 p.m.
- What do I need to do for check-in when I arrive?When you arrive, you can head to the reception to collect the keys to your accommodation or receive information about your location. Please note that participants aged 18 and over will be required to pay the tourist tax, as well as a deposit for their accommodation. If we happen to be away from the reception when you arrive, there’s no need to worry! We’ll be somewhere on the campsite and will quickly return to the reception to warmly welcome you and address any questions you may have.
- Do I have to pay a deposit or security deposit?
Upon arrival, a deposit will be requested from you. This will be returned to you at the end of your stay if your accommodation is returned in a satisfactory condition (cleaning and general condition). The deposit will be made by check or credit card.
My stay on a pitch
- How many people can camp on a pitch?
The maximum capacity of our pitches for tents, camper vans and caravans is 6 people (including children and babies). If you exceed this maximum capacity, you will need to reserve a second pitch. The basic pitch package includes 2 people. Additional persons (adults or children) will therefore have to pay a supplement.
- Why am I asked for information about my camping equipment?
At Camping la Ribère, all pitches do not have the same shape or accessibility depending on your equipment. The campsite itself is not flat and the pitches have been created on small terraces. The pitch that will be offered to you will also be linked to the natural configuration of the campsite and certain pitches and your equipment. This is why it is important to provide the size of your tent, camper van or caravan. An additional awning on your pitch is considered a tent.
Your vehicle must be parked on your pitch.
- Small tent: 2 x 3m (6m²) or trekking – 1 to 3 people
- Medium tent: 3 x 5 m (15m²) – 2 to 4 people
- Large tent: max 4 x 5 m (20m²) – 4 to 6 people
- more than 20m² – 1 to 6 people – we invite you to contact us directly
For camper van pitches: Max 7m long
- What type of electrical outlet is available on pitches?
The campsite is equipped with electrical terminals in certain locations of the campsite with EU sockets. Remember to bring your adapters (male 3 pins) as well as an extension cable of about 25m to be able to connect.
My stay in accommodation
- Is it possible to add a tent or awning next to my accommodation?
No, it is not possible to add an awning or tent next to your accommodation. You will need to reserve an additional pitch, located in the area dedicated to tents.
- What is the maximum capacity of chalets and mobile homes?
Throughout our rental offer, the maximum capacity is between 1 and 6 people (including babies). You should consult our accommodation pages to find out the capacity of each accommodation. For safety reasons, it is not possible to go beyond. If you exceed this maximum capacity, you will need to reserve a second accommodation.
- Are sheets and towels provided?
Bedding, towels and kitchen linen are not included in the rental. It is possible to rent bedding on site. Remember to book them in advance!
- Can I rent baby equipment?
Yes, this is possible! We offer to lend you the baby bed (travel cot) and / or a high chair for free. You can reserve these items by phone or on our website (subject to availability)
- Do I have to do the cleaning when leaving my accommodation?
Unless you have taken out the end-of-stay cleaning option when making your reservation, you will need to clean your accommodation before proceeding to the exit inventory and returning the keys. Your accommodation must be returned in perfect cleanliness. If an accommodation is returned in a state of cleanliness deemed unsatisfactory, we may charge you for the cost of cleaning or keep it on your deposit. Remember to bring your cleaning products!

- What should I do if I forgot an object at the campsite?

- Why do I have to complete the satisfaction questionnaire?
Every feedback is valuable to us, which is why after your departure a satisfaction questionnaire is sent to you by email.
Whether your stay has met all your expectations or whether you have encountered difficulties, do not hesitate to submit your opinion by completing the questionnaire. We read each questionnaire carefully.
Your answers help us to further improve our offers and services and to better adapt them to your expectations.
- How to make a complaint?
We are committed to making your vacation as smooth as possible. We invite you to send us your comments at any time during your stay, in order to allow our team to propose solutions to improve your stay. We collect all the opinions of our campers through a satisfaction questionnaire which will be sent to you by email after your stay. You can give us your comments and dissatisfaction on this occasion or communicate with us directly by phone at 05 62 92 69 01 or by email.
- Is the campsite accessible for people with reduced mobility?
The campsite has facilities for people with reduced mobility. However, the natural configuration of the campsite (elevation, rocky paths…) can make movement difficult. We do not have specific rentals for the needs of a person with reduced mobility.
- How many vehicles are allowed per rental or pitch?
Only one vehicle is allowed to park inside the campsite, either directly on the pitch or in the numbered parking space at the entrance of the campsite for rentals. We try to limit traffic in the campsite to preserve the tranquility and safety of children. Free parking is available 200m away for additional vehicles.
- Do you offer charging stations for electric vehicles?
The campsite was designed to use the minimum amount of energy possible, as a result, it is not possible to install specific facilities. Using the sockets in your pitch or rental to charge your vehicle could lead to a power outage for the entire campsite. You will find charging stations in the center of the village of Barèges.
- Is the campsite open in winter?
The campsite is open in winter but only the rental part can accommodate you during this period. The sanitary facilities, collective equipment as well as services for campers are not accessible in winter.
- Are pets allowed at the campsite?
Pets are welcome on the pitches of the campsite. For everyone’s comfort, only one pet is allowed per pitch. Your pet must be vaccinated, kept on a leash, and its waste must be disposed of outside the campsite. We also ask that you not leave your pets alone on the pitches or in your vehicles.
Pets are not allowed in rentals (except for guide dogs for the blind and assistance dogs with proof).
- Is there WIFI available?
There are two possibilities: either through our external provider with relay antennas on the campsite (paid service) or the 4G network covers the entire campsite. Depending on your plan, you can stay connected to the internet during your vacation.
